:: Elise and Ethan ::

Meet Elise and Ethan! These two cuties are the children of one of my fifth grade teachers! Its crazy how fast time flies! I had so much fun taking pictures of these two! I do not photograph children very often (even though I LOVE doing it) so its a treat when I get to! Here are some of my favorite images from the session. Don't they look like they just stepped out of a Gap add?

:: Maicy and Emma ::

So these little cuties are Emma and Maicy! They are the grandchildren of my Great Aunt Anne and Uncle Matt.  Their daughter Ruth and her family were visiting from Colorado and even though they didn't stay long I'm really glad we got to fit some pictures in! Just look at those two girls! They were pretty crazy but I think we got some really cute shots! Here are my favorites!

Passion Play 2009

My church puts on a Passion Play every year right before Easter, when a friend of the family asked if I would come photograph it I was thrilled! For those of you who do not know, the Passion Play depicts all of the stations of the cross leading up to Resurrection of Jesus Christ.  My church does this play every year and they have even taken it on the road a few times! Sadly, this was my first year going! I was so blown away by how stunning it was! They don't call it a PASSION play for nothin! Every single actor gave all of their emotions and then some. I felt like I was there all those thousands of years ago.  And the choir was fantastic.  Their haunting melodies filled the whole play with emotion and passion. It was definitely a challenge though! All I had to work with was a few stage lights! And they were mostly red and yellow! yikes.  Needless to say, I had my work cut out for me that night! One nice thing is that the actors depict the scenes with no dialogue or movement.  They just freeze the scene while a narrator tells the audience whats going on!  I am so glad I could photograph this event and I will definitely make this play a yearly occurrence in my life from now on.  Good job to all the actors, directors, make up artists, costumers, lighting and sound people and last but not least, the choir.  You all did fantastic!! Here are some of my favorite images from the play!

Cole, Ella, and Addy.

Towards the end of the summer I got to photograph Cole, Ella, and Addy.  They were honestly the cutest kids ever! I swear the all walked directly out of a Baby Gap catalog.  Just look at those outfits! I enjoyed every second of this session.  Even when Ella got a little annoyed with Cole.  Here are some of my favorites!

and Americas Next Top Model Is.....my sister?

My favorite person to photograph is my little sister Abby.  She is so photogenic and knows exactly how to pose.  I think she is so gorgeous! She is only ten, but look how she works that face!  She will definitely be a heartbreaker when she gets older.  She already told a boy that she likes him! Sadly he said she talks too much haha. Imagine that! Here are some recent shots of her that I LOVE!

Baby Lucy

While I was attending school out East, one of my favorite teachers from high school, Mrs. Beran, had a baby!  Mrs Beran is too cute so I knew that I just HAD to photograph her new baby.  A few Emails we exchanged and before I knew it, little Lucy was in my backyard with a pink bonnet and a smile.  She is soo adorable and expressive.  I enjoyed every second of the session.  Here are some of my favorite images!
